Mars Tech Demo - Interactive Experience - Update 14
We’ve been working on some underlying tech to support integration with our character controller (Sticky3D Controller). Now we’re working on:
- Atmosphere re-entry to landing pad approach transition.
- Optional AI-Assisted landing with potentially zone “capture” conditions (rate of descent, approach angle/speed etc)
- In-cockpit controlled descent option (most likely with Sticky3D Controller)
- Crash and burn if it all goes pear-shaped.
One thing to keep in mind is that this uses a Physics-mode dropship (rather than arcade mode) which can be very unforgiving in terms of flight dynamics and control. In this mini-game, landing and general flight is supposed to be challenging (and take some practice).
