Same for me, I just downloaded Unity Free 4.6.1 and wanted to test it out and I can’t get license my free version because of 500 Internal Error with licensing server, the same goes with manual activation.

Unity 4.6.1’s license server seems to be down, can you confirm?
I desperately need this to work in the next few hours. I’ve only gotten something capable of running it today.
Same error pops up if you try manual activation.
And I’m pretty sure this doesn’t matter, but the same issue happens with all older versions of the game.

Found this, it has a way through. refreshing the manual reload should help. But my situation has it so it doesn’t even give me the option to manually load anymore. If I can force it through I will (and I hope to be able to) but we’ll have to wait and see.
Edit2: Forced it to manual by disconnecting from the internet. But yeah, seriously guys, get this fixed asap, this is bad news for people trying it out the first time.

Same here. I have been trying for 12 hours to register this and I have been getting the same 500 - Internal Server Error.
I know, this is terrible I have been trying for 12 to. This needs to get fixed fast. Its getting better though. 12 hours ago I couldn’t load the application now I can get to the login so they are working on it and clearing it up
I hope you are right but I have gotten to the login screen plenty of times only for the 500 error to pop up. Once I even go to the questionnaire.
