I use unity since one year new and since there are daily deals, I have become really more addicted to it, I almost check every days what package is on deal and its a great thing that the assets store use the steam sale model. but I wish and i think i am not the only one in this case more features to make it better for customers.
-Add a “follow price” option on each assets to follow the price changes, I am waiting for assets to be cheaper but i worry one day I wont check the store and will miss the deal. if only i could receive an alert email!
-Add a “vote for next deal” option: each people can vote for their favorite assets giving him some points to change their ranking then the most awaited assets are In the deal when deal is over just reset it point counter, I bet many of us are sick of waiting a long time to see the assets they want in daily deal instead of “Fantasy low poly vegetables” or “Glowing Scifi Condom”?
obviously it require to add a second daily deal or maybe a “week end deal” because it could make some small assets to never be in the deals
Do you think its something that could be positive for assets store customers?

price alert, vote for next deal, deal of the week, etc are all great things
and hopefully someone at unity will listen and add them to the to do list
i would like to have a rating for this release, added to the overall rating
also price history for an asset like there is for steam… perhaps some 3rd party could do it by scraping unity website, but steam has api that people use…
that way we can easily discount outdated reviews. or at least the version number added to the date of the review
also would be nice to have a way to know that there is an update for a release and more automatically get it. so there should be like some webpage that you can go to see that there is a release and click on the ones to update. this open in unity is time consuming.
Thats what i like about steam, I add a game to software to my wishlist and when it goes on sale I get an email, I then purchase with a smile on my face.

yes a wish list would be very nice. right now i maintain my own using spreadsheet, but it a pain. or notify me when price is x or below or when on sale. ect would also be very helpful… also would be nice to get notifications when author does an update to an asset or when author adds a new asset or perhaps we could watch a category as well like cartoon characters or perhaps keywords as well. so nice notification system would be nice, i love spam
