A couple of terrain tests

I’ve been experimenting with using Carrara 6 to generate terrains for Unity 2.0 and thought I’d share my tests so far. The process is pretty easy and I’m pretty happy with the results.

I’ve been playing more with Carrara’s tree maker too. I have to rebuild the trunk and branches in C4D to bring the poly count down but the most important thing is that Carrara gives me a way to generate nicely shaped tree canopies quickly.

Hey Boxy, that -is- nice. Just how much work is involved that has to be done in C4D? Is it just a matter of mesh reduction, or are you completely re-modeling everything?
