I’m in the process of developing a mobile game for iOS and Android. I have been working on it for 4 months but I don’t anticipate being done for about another year.
I have several years of experience doing 3D animation. I am developing it in Unity, and it already is turing out better than most indie games on the market.
So far the animation and design is up to par (and superior in some places) to that of the GTA games on the app store already (GTA3, Vice City)
The game is a bit different than GTA too. In the game you have a variety of optional missions you can complete (Murder investigations, taking down a gang of drug dealers, etc.) that involves a bit more thinking. Then there are randomly generated small missions you can complete. (Gang fights, robberies, stolen cars, etc.).
The game also includes a point system that will allow the player to upgrade to different ranks to unlock better missions, weapons, vehicles, (even a helicopter!), etc.
I would really like to hear other peoples sales projections, and if you have any ideas for the app I defiantly want to hear them too! The game is called iCop and will be available from late 2014 to early 2015.
It would be nice if you would post some screenshots of your work in progress You will definitely get more feedback then

Thank you for the feedback. I will try to think of a better name, but for now I am focusing on actually building the app. Also I am planning on putting up screenshots throughout development. I already have been working on it for a few months but it’s still pretty early on, and I want to put as much time into the design, and fixing bugs, so that it isn’t a buggy, poorly designed game with crappy gameplay like many apps on the market.
I know, that’s why I am so excited! As of now I don’t have a lot. I am referring to the character models, buildings (especially the amount of buildings that actually have accessible interiors), and things that I already have. I am far from finished, but considering the quality of the app so far I am extremely confident that the finished product will be great!
I will post screenshots soon, I am currently busy with some other things, but I will try and get them in the next few days.
