are these good models?
theres no upstairs or color so you would have to add mostly everything just the outside was made and comes with road,these models are not free yet but if you would like them to be please send me a message.

search for some pics of real houses and try to recreate them
keep doing stuff

google sketchup is not suited to make game graphics in the 1st place…

No, its a fail when it comes to that, unless thats the graphics you want. But i was just correcting him by saying it can because I have made it. But Blender is the best if ur going for free to make 3d models(if that’s not obvious). But it’s confusing.

Sketchup is really only limited by your ability to use it. Yes it lacks the more “curvature” detail of more complex programs, but it can be extremely useful.

example of what can be done… slightly more detailed than a basic building which many consider to be the limit of sketchup

dude like i say every day, blender is very very hard to learn, i don’t even know how to copy and paist on it lol, cause if blender was easy i would make lots of models, but it’s very very very hard for me, i watched every tutorial on blender and still it’s hard as hell.

im not saying that sketchup isn’t capable of making nice models,also it is usefull indeed for blocking out stuff
im saying that its a bad choice for game models…

not all models are constructed by tubes and boxes or simple boolean operations

anyway im going to stop here

well then i would recomend learning at least the basics of blender, sence u can make models with sketchup and then import them in too blender and make “the final touches” and more compatible for gaming :wink:

and there are some amazing tutorials out there for blender, although most of them aint on youtube.
i recomend to check the teaching part on the forum, ive seen alot of good ones being posted there :slight_smile:
