Hi, I’m new to this forum. I started this week with Unity3d tutorials. First of all I wanna know, how this game was made, with what engine and if it’s possible to do this with Unity. Is there any assets or something like this style that helps me out?
I’m looking for something like the Mobile Games :
Stormfall
Game of war
Mobile Strike
Clash of Kings
Clash of Clans
I see that all Games are with the same style, only with others models. Only for clash of clans I found a help asset like citybuilder for unity.
So if anybody can help me out, or knows something in this style, it would be great.
It’s not clear to me what you’re asking. Yes, it’s possible to make any of these games in Unity (it’s even fairly likely that some of these games were made in Unity).
I’m also pretty sure you will find some assets in the Asset Store to help get you started.
All five of those example games are strategy MMOs. There are networking frameworks on the Asset Store to assist with developing an MMO but I’m not aware of any that are designed for the large scale unit counts of an RTS. Most of them are along the lines of uMMO. They’re designed for more traditional “theme park” MMOs.
While there are some plugins to help with stuff like analytics and in-app purchases, the majority of the work comes down to knowing how Unity works. There’s no magic “make my game for me” button, you have to learn it.
At least not for games that don’t have very basic mechanics like “entities follow path, towers shoot entities”. An MMO is simply not going to have a full game asset available for it. It’s far too complex of a game genre for that.
