A Unity3D FPS starter package

Hello everyone,

Team Remixgames is making a FPS starter package and my question to all of you is: what would you like to have in it? Leave a comment/suggestion down below and we maybe put it in the starter package. Parts of our game FPSProject is going in it and we also want to hear your thoughts and ideas that can be added.

Hi, my suggestions are:
Many weapons
Enemies
A range on models
editor tools for everything so that the users can continue easy
Grenades
Melee weapons
Inventory(Backpack)
Attachments for the weapons

Many ai enemies (at least 20) with dynamic shadow
Enemies with smart ai
Multi-player / single user mode
get on/off vehicle
close-up view
radar
lobby system
chat system
cutscene
nice performance (your pc configuration)
Related particle effects

Is Cdtj3 still around here?

That depends on what unity license you have not to the cdtj3

@ivanzu: What I concern is the performance when he uses dynamic shadow and ai, not whether we can use shadow or not.

Sorry for not being on here for a while i’m just on a new school and have much things to do. But thanks for the ideas :smile:. We will take a look at all the ideas so far. We also planning to make this with unity free license because i don’t think everyone buys unity pro and we don’t have unity pro.

If dynamic shadow greatly decrease the performance of the package, please remove this feature and use lightmap instead. :slight_smile:

Not such a wise Idea in some cases. Lightmapping would greatly increase loading times.

Is it a starter package? I cant find any sources…

When will this be available?
