This is my development thread for Goo Ball War. I’d love feedback on this one as I develop.
Here’s your link:

Here are some questions to ponder while you play:
Did you think the tutorial was clear?
How would you make the blake text for the tutorial easier to see?
Do you like having the god powers, or is it unbalancing?
Do you like the color scheme?
Do you like the clouds?
Do you think the opening menu looks good?
Sorry, but on quick review I don’t get it. I sort of got ready to fire and then it jumped from one player area (green) to the other (blue) without a clear reason why. :?:
FYI, this is not the right part of our forums to post a request for help, you’ll likely get more traction in Scripting or Unity Support.
Can you give me a better idea as to how I’m supposed to actually play your game? With that I can give it all another look and possibly help decipher what’s going on. Also, what do you see that’s wrong about the “curves” (you mean the black circles that appear when trying to aim the cannon)? They seem “ok” to me in that nothing obvious jumps out, but I’ve only given it a minute or two look so perhaps you can help ID things a bit more.
Sorry about that HiggyB. I fixed the issue, and am working hard to get a menu and tutorial made so that it all makes more sense. It should be done in the next couple of hours.
Crazy thing about the problem though. It had nothing to do with my code. Certain values as rigidbody velocities right after you instantiate it get lowered arbitrarily. I really couldnt pin down a pattern. All I did to fix it was have the script set its velocity the frame after it was launched. Weird, right?
Alright everyone, I think I have a playable version! Get a friend and kill each others goo! Make sure you play the tutorial first. Also the newest god power, create another goo blob, doesn’t have a logo, just know its the god power to the furthest right.
Enjoy:

I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this so far.
Edit:
A little bit of a bumpy ride with the server. It doesn’t want to let me replace the old file. Should have it straightened out soon
