I recently bought an asset from the store that even the demo does not work. I’ve tried contacting the seller but e-mail is bounced back. If I understand refund policy I can not get one since already imported it?
Your country’s consumer guarantees come first. If you’re in somewhere like the EU and you were sold something that does not work, you’re entitled to a refund.

Is it a brand new asset or an older one?
In case of an older one, try the minimum version supported Unity mentioned on the asset site.
You should at least contact the Asset Store email address to ask. Three reasons:
- As someone mentioned, consumer protection laws trump company policy, and may be on your side.
- It’s good customer service to solve your problems, and terrible service to sell busted stuff.
- It can’t hurt to ask. You might get what you want if you ask, you certainly won’t if you don’t.

Thanks for responses guys. Going to request refund. Worst they can say is no. I tried the last unity version it said asset was updated 2018, but that won’t allow current playmaker and looks like is pain to get access to. Lot of hoops when whole reason bought was for speed and ease.
