Probably. The mesh data is actually internal to Unity, you never see it. All you do is drop your original mesh assets (in Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, FBX, … formats) and Unity does everything that’s needed. Additionally, you can create or modify meshes from scripts using the Mesh class.
