About Open Font License

I’m using TextMesh Pro in my game. As you know TextMesh Pro uses Liberation Sans font by default which is licensed under SIL Open Font License Version 1.1.

However, I couldn’t exactly understand some things when I read the following sentences on this page: OFL web version

“Original or Modified Versions of the Font Software may be bundled, redistributed and/or sold with any software, provided that each copy contains the above copyright notice and this license. These can be included either as stand-alone text files, human-readable headers or in the appropriate machine-readable metadata fields within text or binary files as long as those fields can be easily viewed by the user.”

According to first sentence, we can use it for freely in our projects if “provided that each copy contains the above copyright notice and this license”. And according to second sentence it “can be easily viewed by the user”.

In this case is a license attribution required for this font? Or I understand wrong?

I cannot give legal advice. But I believe this is the kind of thing I put in the credits. Developing independently can be really hard sometimes, because of the management of such little things, what I usually do is note down every single source where I get my assets from and then later compile on a credits screen, the ones I use.
