About the new script editor

Hi,

I want to know how i make the symbol : { or } ?
I have problem to add this, i can not press ctrl, it want not to do or this have no impact :frowning:

i used the 3.2 and 3.1… freeware in the passed and i not had this problem.

You have a trick to have this?
Someone can explain what is this?

What?

It is difficult to describe you without knowing your keyboard layout! On my keyboard they are on 7 and 0, you get those symbols by pressing AltGr and 7 (or 0 for the other one).

Hi,
i have a french/english keyboard, but the only way to have the { and }, i need to copy and past the {} from the default update function on creating a script. for to be fast :frowning:

it’s sad, i know not, what to do, to be able to use the keyboard.

i can here looks {{}{{{}{}{{}{ it work here , but not in the script editor

Do you mean you can write that symbols here and on notepad for example, but you cannot write to script editor (Mono Develop IDE)?

Yes ! in the unity 3d script editor, i cannot use right keys on the keyboard

the only way it’s to copy past : {} to have it into the script editor

i have misery to code with this problem.
You have a solution for this?

Hm. I see two ways now. Contact Unity about the issue. And/or use Uniscite instead this buggy and slow monster called Mono Develop.
