About Unity Indie License

There is something that i really didn’t understand about the unity indie, i cant publish games for windows platform with it?

And what type of watermark is added when i publish it for web in windows?

Right now, no you can not publish to windows with it.

the watermark is the same you get with the demo on both platforms when running the webplayer.

that stuff is meant to change slightly with the 2.5 release when there is a windows version.

The answer above is correct.

As of today you cannot publish Windows exe’s using Unity Indie but that will change with the release of Unity 2.5 (coming soon). With Unity 2.5 Indie users will be able to publish executables for both platforms, although those will show a Unity loading screen on launch.

Web player content published with Unity Indie will display a small Unity watermark in the bottom right corner of your content, it stays there. With the release of Unity 2.5 that will also change in that viewers on both Mac and Win will see the watermark but it will only be shown briefly at the start then it will go away.

This is really nice, now i think there is no problem for me to buy a unity indie license when the 2.5 version come out.

About the unity loading screen i think there is no problem, since torque does the same.

Thanks a lot.
