About "UpdateRendererBoundingVolumes" in profiler.

I found it in my profiler, Such thing cost me nearly 8ms per frame but I do not have any idea about what it actually is. Does anyone has any idea? Thanks a lot.

Well, I have a clue what it could be, but I wonder why it eats up 50ms occasionally on my project. So, an explanation would be appreciated how to avoid this.
With a lag of 50ms animations become very unattractive.

would also like to have an answer on how to resolve this, i get spikes of 106ms per frame in cases!
