I am moving an object in the y axis using accelerometer. I need such an object to be at rest when my tablet is at a 45 degress angle and start moving up and down from here. Is this possible?

I am just asking again this same question, it is really important for my project. I will very much appreciate if someone with experience with an issue like this gives me a clue.
