Cardboard by default show an “X” that closes the app. I want to change its behavior or remove it from the interface. With native Cardboard integration in unity 5.6 I cannot see any api that lets me do it. Overwriting back button behavior also doesn’t work.
The “X” button is placed there from Java SDK, and the intended behaviour is that it’s always there. You can customize the back button behaviour by doing, in Update:
if (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.Escape)) {
// Invoke behaviour here.
}
