Accessing vertices to bend TextMesh

I’m trying to animate some text, preferably by each character.

I was going to modify the vertex positions of each character by a script, but it seems that the vertex info isn’t accessible by TextMesh.

Is there a way around this to modify the letter position/rotation/scale?

So I know of no way of doing that with a TextMesh - but you could create your own. You would use Font to get the information on each character in the texture of the font and then render your own billboards for each letter, rotating and scaling them as you see fit.

You can use Font.GetCharacterInfo to get the information about where in the texture a character is and of course there’s lots of other info in there too.
