activate older unity than 2.0

Hi,

I’d like to activate Unity (1.6.2) on my laptop. The register button brings me @ unity 2.0 registration and then it refuses my SN ?

I can read that :
This page allows you to purchase licenses for Unity 2.0. You will not be able to use the purchased serial number to activate earlier Unity versions.

Does that mean i can’t activate my old buddy 1.6.2 anywhere anymore ?
