Adaptive Performance Installation Error

Hello :0

When trying to build my Unity 2D project, I keep encountering this error: “No Adaptive Performance provider package installed. Adaptive Performance requires a provider to get information during runtime. Please install a provider such as Adaptive Performance Samsung (Android) from the Adaptive Performance Settings.” I have checked under project settings and package manager and Adaptive Performance 3.0.2 is installed, so I don’t know why I keep encountering this error.

I have already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m currently facing this same issue also. It seems not to be able to find the package on the package manager. Is there any solution to this? I can’t build my game because of this.

This is nothing to do with 2D so it’s not appropriate to post here.

I’ll move your post to the Package Manager forum.

I’m having this issue as well. version 2022.3.4f1

Any solutions?

I solved this issue.
I click “Go to settings”,
then unity shows me 2 windows.
You don"t need to care about the left window, the “Package Manager” window.
The window shows in the right is “Adaptive Performance Settings”
I click the “install adaptive performance samsung(android)” on the bottom.
And then I wait for 1 min for it.
then it successfully installed/
Problem solved.

You can install “Samsung Android Provider” through project settings:

  1. Select Edit > Project Settings > Adaptive Performance.
  2. Open the Android Settings tab and, in the Providers section, select Samsung Android Provider.
  3. You also can managed installed provider in Package Manager.

Well, I solved my problem by downloading the android build. Apparently there is the Samsumg provider. From there I got a strange error, so I deleted all the provides and installed them again
