Add Component on Wrong Screen

Hi there,
i am currently working on a linux machine and when i try to add a component the windows appears on the secondary screen. Is there some Setting file i can edit/reset so that the position is correct again, or is it a known bug? I did a quick search and couldn’t find any result to this problem.

That popup is always in a separate window, so it looks like maybe it’s just not getting the right coordinates to come up over the inspector. Have you tried dragging it near the inspector once, if it is draggable, and selecting a script, and that might reset it… This almost always works for asset choice windows.

Another thing is to try resetting layouts (upper right).

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, the Component window is sadly a locked window and resetting the layout doesn’t change the position. Also the windows for Shading Mode, Gizmos, Resolution etc have the same positioning errors.

By now i am fairly certain that this is an Bug that exist in the Linux version of Unity, and atleast in (2020.3.1f - 2020.3.17f)
