Add Lightweight Renderpipeline to existing project (Unity 2018b12)

Hi, is there a way to add or switch the renderpipeline in a working project? We already inculded the packages in the package manager but still all graph shaders appear pink and fail…

Have you done various steps such as creating and activating pipeline asset (which has lots of pipeline config options in it) and using the menu command to convert/upgrade materials?
