When I go to Installs and try to add a new version (I follow the dialog steps and press ‘Done’) Hub appears to do nothing There is no feedback of an error and no new version card appears in the the list of Installs.
Any suggestions on how I can download new versions of Unity now?
Hi btristan,
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Would you please report a bug using hub bug reporter?
You will receive an email with the link to the issue tracker, and you can post the link here.
This way, we can take a closer look into the logs and see why the download/install didn’t start.
Thanks,
Afshin
The same happened to me, the cause was that my install folder could not be found as it was set to an external disk that wasn’t mounted when I tried to install.
I had to either mount the external disk or go to Unity Hub 2 > Settings (gear icon) > General > Editors Folder Location > Secondary Location Path > select a location on the internal disk.
Unity should still show a meaningful message instead of just doing nothing, so I will file a bug anyway.
