I have a rather basic looking robot model that I’d like to use in a scifi-horror (think System Shock) type game. Any suggestions for aspects of Unity I can use to make a model more “intimidating” and scary? Just curious if anybody had some creative ideas.
Can you be more specific - what is an aspect of Unity?
Off the top of my head - a shader can make a model look more intimidating. So can fancy lighting effects. Particle systems can make a visual more vibrant or impactful, and camera shake, sound FX can add elements to a design that increases scary factor by 4.327 %. ![]()
