ok i want to add tags to the tags dropdown menu in the inspector so that i can add them to my objects but i can only seem to edit layers.
How would i do this?
Open the part at the top that says “Tags”.

Hmm. It is a pretty stupid question.
Do you see the “Tags” part that can be clicked in that window called “Tags Manager” you found? maybe click it? Its called “Tags” 
ah yes i put a word into element 0 and it came up in my tags tab thanks. i have a habit of getting hung up on the little things i think it has something to do with working in the cryengine. if you click the wrong button in that thing your entire project can become corrupted for example i once lost all of the collision with any voxels in an entire level and the problem never got solved so i had to rebuild the entire thing and it was a BIG level about 20 sqare km.
