Adding .x or .b3d (map) into unity

Hello,

I am new here and not sure how to add .x or .b3d (map) into unity.

Can you also recommend me which is better? .x? .b3d?

Thank you for your time reading this.

Unity does not support either of those file types, so you’ll have to convert them into something more common (FBX is generally recommended, though OBJ, Blend, DAE, or 3DS will all work too).

.x is the old DirectX model format. There’s a Blender extension that will import it and allow you to export to FBX (or just save as a .blend file and Unity will import from that).

I don’t even recognise what B3D is - what application did you use to create the file?
