Addressables missing in Unity 2018.4.4f1 PackageManager

The “Unity Addressables” package is missing for me. According to your blog-post, I thought the Addressable Asset System would be available in Unity 2018.4, but that’s not the case?

It’s still at there. Not sure why u like that.

The error message you got suggests that it couldn’t connect with the server for the package.
But 1.1.5 is available for 2018.4.4, I’ve used it myself already so I’m quite certain.

So maybe try again?

Thanks for the reply. I’m trying since the blog-post was released, 3 days ago. It’s weird that Unity can fetch some packages, but others have errors.

Will try tomorrow again, perhaps it’s then fixed.

Thanks for the answers. Good to know that it’s available and likely an issue on my end.

There were some delays in getting all the bytes in all the right places. I think it could have been a server issue on our end. Either way it should be resolved now. If you still don’t see the package, let us know.

Thanks for your answer. I just tried it again, but still having the same issue. I also created a new project to make sure it’s not project specified, but Unity is also unable to fetch packages in a new project.

You can’t fetch any packages or just the Addressables one? Might be something to post on https://forum.unity.com/forums/package-manager.150/. What version of the editor are you running?
Edit: I see the subject includes editor version. Sounds like a package manager issue of some kind.

The Addressables package does not appear in the list.

I can fetch some packages, but not all. It’s basically like in the screenshot in the very first post in this thread. I can fetch Alembic package for example, but not the Advertisement package.

I’m using Unity 2018.4.4.

I’ve contacted mods to move the thread to the package manager forum.
