I’m working on a project where I load Asset Bundles remotely from Google Drive. I have limited resources, so I can only afford Google Drive at the moment. While it works, it’s getting more difficult to manage with all the metadata. I was looking into Addressables, which would streamline a lot of the Asset Bundle management, but was wondering if it can work with Google Drive, and if so, what would be an efficient workflow?
I highly recommend you don’t do this. This is likely against the terms of service, and even if it isn’t, Google reserves the right to stop providing their services to you at any point, with no warning, no reason and no explanation. This can also easily cascade into them taking down your entire publishing account.
This kind of stuff happens to people daily. You’re already on thin ice by doing any business with Google at all. Don’t push your luck.
