how to stop receiving email notifications,
they are probably coming from old forum followed topics (where i definitely didn’t have email notifications enabled for those threads)
unsub page has only these 2 options:
but i still want to follow that topic,
and i don’t want to do “stop all emails from forum” either…
god this new discourse thing is working like shit, I’m getting hundreds of emails with notifications on posts that I NEVER tracked before, probably posts where I had posted a comment that are years old, and I don’t even know how to unwatch/untrack them or whatever needs to be done, this new discourse format is so bad and unintuitive. WHERE IS THE BUTTON TO UNWATCH A POST??
yes, I just figured it out because the app showed me a tooltip right after I posted, the thing is that you cant unwatch in batches and there is no way to unwatch hundreds of posts from a single list view, you have to open a tab for each watched post, go to that button and unwatch, FOR EVERY SINGLE POST IN HUNDREDS OF THEM, the UX of this forum system is so bad man.

The email notifications is much different than the old forum. Previously I would only get emails for threads I specifically opt-in for email notifications.
Now I get hundreds of emails per day from every thread I’ve ever replied to.
That exists in a way for admin (a bulk action list) so Ill add it to our backlog of QOL updates good call
