Has anyone had any luck getting Admob to work with the current version of the AGON plugin? It’s alittle more tricky this time around then before.
Basically, all works well until an AGON blade is shown. After that, the Ad view gets trapped behind it, and ads are never shown again. In the previous versions, just calling the admob code again in -(void)agonDidHide {} in AppController.mm was enough to fix it, but I was informed that AGON works differently this time, and this fix will not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Hi,
We have already talked about this offline, but I just wanted to provide an answer here for reference and also an update.
For the current version of the AGON Unity plugin it is only possible to register for the callback on the Unity Script side in one of the Agon.Show* methods. It is then be possible to call the AdMob function from the Unity callback, by using either PlayerPrefs for Unity Basic or extern dll for Unity Advanced. That is the way to do with the current plugin.
For the next update of AGON (1.4.0) we will have a solution that will again allow you to also detect the event directly on the ObjC side. So if you are not in a hurry then it might be worth waiting for that update.
Best regards,

Awesome! Is there an ETA in the release?
We should be able to at least get a release candidate out next week. There are quite a few new features so we want to give it a thorough testing before making a final release…
