Is it possible to implement addMob to unity games, if so is it easy and how much cash do you make from it, is it per add clicked or served?
Cheers

The Enhancement Pack has admob support, if I’m not mistaking.
Yes, quite easy to add. I have a bunch of apps out with Admob ads and am making more than 30 US$ per day with Admob. Their SDK has a very simple programmatic example of how to add Admob ads to your app.
Is it a good idea to put ads in a Lite version? Or will this drive away potential customers?
Hard to say, depends on the case. For me it worked good.
Martin, did you ever try AdWhirl? Do you think AdMob is the best of the bunch?
I’ve been trying to get AdWhirl working in one of my projects, but get this error on build:
Any ideas, the adwhirl guys are tring to help, but they don’t have experience with Unity.
Has anyone got AdWhirl working with Unity yet?
Me too I can’t install Adwhirl… their 5 min install really sucks for Unity users…
Yes, this “thumb bl/blx out of range” stuff is my recent nightmare. Try turning off “compile for thumb” and see what happens. Also, ask AdWhirl how their library was compiled. (You can do “nm | grep Thumb” to see if it was compiled for Thumb or not.)
Basically, the problem that the linker can’t jump to an address more than 4M bytes away. However, Unity is a big library, and so are many of the third-party libraries you might want to bolt on to it. So there can be this conflict.
There seems to be no good way around this. Basically, reduce the size of your executable as much as possible, but I’m sure you’re already doing that. I have been experimenting with changing the link order and have had occasional success, but basically this means you’re getting into linking, packaging, and code signing your app from the command line, which is totally not fun.
I blew an official Apple DTS support ticket on this. If I get any good info I will share it.
Can’t you configure the link order in XCode pretty easily actually?
