AdtoApp anyone using them? getting really suspicious about their business.

Just wanted to share my thoughts about using AdtoApp and wanted to know if anyone has used them and have any thoughts.

I have been with them for a month and a half thus far.

Positives;

  • awesome platform that get’s you the best ECPM across multiple advertising networks.
  • Unity plugin, so no coding.

Negatives;

  • 3 guys run the show, lack of personnel.
  • least expertise when it comes to customer support.
  • Huge delay in payment.
  • lack of professionalism.
  • Very hard to communicate with, due to language barrier(they are from Ukraine).
  • Local cultural values really shows when dealing with them, and Ukraine is really below average when it comes to people’s rights.

Ukraine needs help against criminal elements as all nations do but the overwhelming majority of people are very respectful of people. There are nations that supply practically all the manufactured products of the world with much worse rights records and the best response to that is probably to empower the average person in those places economically and materially with peaceful modern technology and let the innocence of the majority eventually rule the day. Boycotts aren’t effective but lead to criminally subversive international networks as demonstrated in Iran which are in turn used to corrupt our own politicians and business leaders. Criminal persecution is what is effective and so an economically and materially empowered folk of those countries is the best way to persecute their own corrupt politicians and own criminals. Even communist countries and religious dictatorships have laws by which the rulers must abide. There is only so much food even the hungriest person can eat.

On the one hand I sympathize with them as a small group of people trying to be successful in business and on the other hand I realize that they have much less chance of being successful as an advertising business then even you have as a maker of games because successful advertisers have to have both a wide reaching audience and nowadays so much information about demographics and game performance to properly serve their ad buyers I just don’t see how a 3 man crew can hope to manage those things or have the wide reach but as most of that is computer code maybe they can give it a go.

If they are delivering the payouts they promised you should try and stick with them unless you think they paid you the payout out of their own pocket. That’s not sustainable.

Here are their replies to my tech support query about the payout.

You will receive paymemt with everyone else before 10th of the month.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. Now regarding your money. It is taken off of your balance value once the status will say “paid”. If they are still in processing or did not get this status yet, that means they are have not left your balance as of that moment.

Also, we are forming client lists and checking everyone for frauding which sometimes might cause delays. Plus bank transfers take 1-2 business days, keep that in mind.

Have you received an email saying that your payment was processed yet?

Of course i didn’t get no email!
I am getting even more suspicious about this last reply, asking me if i received an email. Knowing that those two guys are two of the three that run the whole thing and the third guy is the coder guy. Asking such a question is only to give them more time, because of course one of those two guys is the one responsible of sending the emails, so he knows for sure that i didn’t get no email.

Go figure!

That English isn’t that difficult to understand.

To send money to and from Ukraine takes more time because of various unscrupulous activities of a few people and organizations, even so, in most cases when I make a PayPal transfer within US borders it takes 3, 4, or occasionally more business days. I never count weekends or holidays as a day of wait because businesses and governments don’t. What they mean by 10 business days is up to 14 real days.

Rhetorical question: How is the money being transferred?

I know nothing about AdtoApp, but from a business perspective if I was having money transferred from a different country and was notified on the 9th that it was sent, I would not be surprised if it posted to my account on Monday the 13th or even later next week, depending on what form of transfer the money was taking. (Direct bank transfers process one way, PayPay another, et cetera.)

As for the e-mail on the 11th, I interpreted it to mean that Vlad was asking if you had received an e-mail from your own payment processor that the money was deposited. (I guess this assumes you’re using a processor that notifies you by e-mail, as opposed to you spamming the refresh on your online accounts page.)

If there have been prior “huge delays” in payment processing, I can understand being concerned. However, how do you define “huge delays”? If you’ve only been with AdtoApp a month and a half, you’d be eligible for one full monthly payment so far?

Honestly, if they pay by the 10th and I routinely received the money cleared into my bank or other account by the 17th, I’d consider that normal pace of business, especially international business. Worrying about a payment from the 10th on Sunday the 12th when banks often don’t process everything on Saturdays or Sundays, well that seems a bit like jumping the gun. (No offense intended. I just mean from a business perspective.)

You assume that their payment/email system is manual.

This is often not the case. I wouldnt be too skeptical about them asking if you got an email… at least they are asking.

The email on 11th was asking if i received an email saying if my payment was processed. Which to Vlad means their own processing of payment to be sent out. So he is asking me if i got an email which he will send when he himself process my payment. Got my point?

Where did i get that from, you can check his reply on the 9th. He mentions the word processing not as my own bank processing the payment, but as in them processing my payment.

PayPal and other payment systems send out emails when they process a payment. A bank usually doesn’t. You are asking us to judge that business as guilty without hardly any evidence except your impatience.

I myself just got an email from transferwise.com that said a transfer failed because the account I tried to transfer to was in US dollars rather the required currency format for that country to was being transferred to. Also I got no email about the status of that transfer until today, 13th June, even though on the transferwise.com website it claimed the transfer would be finished by the 8th of June but the transfer was only initiated on Jun 8th so they were wrong. A transfer that was initiated and finished on the same day would have been a feet that I’ve seen only done on intrabank transfers in the past.

looks like goat knows the guys, hahahah are you from Ukraine?

I am not in any way talking about the transfer or the time it’s taking.
Rather it’s all about their legibility! It’s about them sending the payment out, until now it’s not clear if they did or not. One time they say, it’s sent, then they go back and say it takes time to process and so forth.

That’s what makes me suspicious about the guys. I am fully aware of Wire Transfers and the way these things work, thanks goat

No I’m not from Ukraine. I am from USA. From the speed of your assumption of guilt on the part of the business you are dealing with is looks like you have squandered you small stash of cash looking for the next get rich scheme many times in your past. Don’t worry, I’ve worked at horse race tracks in the past and your behavior is common. People squandering their car payments and such on betting on horses but it doesn’t work.

It helps that I’ve lived internationally for many years and worked for an international bank many years. I tested and troubleshot the software & hardware as my first job overseas for a well known international bank’s SWIFT system were that system 1st came to light.

What is your experience, besides assumptions?

If they are allowed to do the money transfers then they are legal.

I bought software recently from Software MacKiev and the Ukraine is full of good competent programmers, legitimate businesses, and innocent people. It’s a bit insulting that you publicly question the legitimacy of a Ukrainian business because of them being Ukrainian. The guilt or innocence lies with that business alone and you haven’t even been reasonably patient with standard operating procedures for international bank transfers.

You are getting judgemental, so am i impatient ? or i am out for get rich schemes?

You are from USA, i get that, but originally from Ukraine right ?

you are taking things way too personal goat, and you gotten too far away from the subject

let’s get back to the subject, seems like i am the only one using them.
Unfortunately for you goat, i will have to stick with Admod, i thought to give them a try, but they proven to be so not worth it and probably, i just lost my last month and a half earnings!

I’m spot on the subject. It is you who questioned the legitimacy of the business and the morals of the people you communicated with on the basis of being Ukrainian.

So don’t try to turned the tables. You words have come out of your mouth. Sorry you find your behavior something you wish to pretend you didn’t do but it’s there in your opening post.

Now I am done speaking with you and your attempts to denigrate a business and culture with no evidence.

doesnt matter. you missed mine by a country mile

I am from Poland and I can see why this takes time. The thing is that recently PayPal has introduced here a very bad service for “quick” adding funds to the PayPal account that required you to enter your password on a third-party (i.e. not your bank) website. Which isn’t a good idea to do. Now, here in Poland the situation has been rectified, but dunno about the Ukraine. These guys may just play it safe and use “slower” fund adding via a wire transfer which takes more time to process.

Now, assuming they don’t keep all their money on their paypal (which isn’t a good idea), to pay you they first have to transfer money from their company bank account to PayPal (which using the “slow” method can take up to two weeks), then they have to send the money to you (which depending if PayPal decides to do antifraud check on this transaction may additionally delay it by few days). So you need to be a little bit patient.

Are you talking about Paypal<->paypal transfers or about Paypal–>Bank transfers? Paypal transfers should be quite fast, unless you’re withdrawing money into bank account.

hmmmm why is Paypal in this thread!
They are suppose to send me a wire transfer, plus i used Paypal for years and never that i had a problem with transfers taking time. It takes usually 3 business days to transfer funds from your bank account to your Paypal account. That’s if you are in North America, and i would say maybe around 5 business days from international banks.

See you dragged me into talking about Paypal, when i don’t know why we are talking about it.
