Just a note about the webplayer … for me it was black to start with and it remained black until I hit the 0 key.

For best results, be sure to move the camera into the graveyard. (When the demo started for me, I was outside it.)

Free distribution period is over, I’m glad this asset became so popular.

  1. would it be possible to de-saturate a specified color with this package?
    Means, I want to decrease red (range) to nearly b/w.

  2. Are these image effects?

I your example the red color persist and all other colors desaturate.

Hello.

  1. Yes, it’s possible. You have to set fade power to zero, and set “Selective recolor” to Luminosity_coloring, with color set to gray. You can also set Recolor power in an interval between 0 and 1, depending on how much of desaturation you want.

  2. Yes, Advanced Selective Coloring is an image effect. If you want shaders that do similar things, you can look at Colorify.

is that code from Colorify more efficient, because it reduce only the specified color?

Only if you use pre-baked variants. Most processing-heavy operations in both Selective Coloring and Colorify happens to be color comparison - recolor and fade in itself are very fast operations.

Also note that Colorify doesn’t include image effects - it only includes shaders that work as an alternative to standard Unity ones.

Yes. I don’t understand why the demo not started in the graveyard with option ‘0’. The demo should have been updated since oct 2014. :face_with_spiral_eyes:
