Hey guys,
So I am looking for a good mocap hardware. Not camera based (like Kinect), but a mocap suit to give better precision.
There are few upcoming mocap suits such as PrioVR and Perception Neuron, but they’re not out yet and pre-ordering them would be risky.
Do you guys know of any with price <$1000?

No they have it for sale for outide of academic. They have 2 versions of each on their sales page. Just have to click on the one that doesn’t have academic in the name.
What’s up with a 18 neuron kit? They have only academic one?
I least I am glad they have non-academic kits 
From what I read I think that’s the number of pick up points( if you want to call it that) that are on the device.
or think of it as the dots on a full suit that gets picked up by the camera.
Will do. I bought the full 32 neuron set, so I’ll be able to capture full motion. Can’t wait. It must be better than using Kinects which is what I tried before. lol
