After uprading to Unity 5.5, app crashes all over on Android

Our team upgraded to Unity 5.5 and now our app is having huge problems.

First problem was we noticed logging info Facebook took over a minute when it normally takes under a second.

Then, when we try to perform an action in the game it just crashes.

This does not happen in the editor.

Anyone else seeing lots of crashes with Unity 5.5?

After a day of debugging we narrowed it down. This happens when starting location services.
