Ai doesn't walk around walls

so i have an ai zombie thats walks to me cause i have only one way point and it is a child object of my character and so i was happy.. but now i started adding buildings and walls but the zombie just gets stuck behide the wall till i come back around it... is there any way i could make the zombie walk around and collision objects Exept it's "TARGET"--(me).

Pathfinding is a bit of a complex subject, you should do a search for some pathfinding examples on Google. This website has some project examples and support specific to Pathfinding using Unity.
