ai script help. please help this script.

Basically I want this script to be simple, when you get within a certain radius the AI looks at you. Right now I’m getting plenty of errors from unity. I will address them in the end.

THE SCRIPT:

THE ERRORS:

Assets/Ai talking .js(10,34): BCE0043: Unexpected token: ..

Assets/Ai talking .js(10,57): UCE0001: ';' expected. Insert a semicolon at the end.

     line 10

Assets/Ai talking .js(12,22): BCE0044: expecting :, found '='

I understand what their saying. Its getting in the way of what I’m doing, or so I think.

You’ve messed up the brackets on the if:

function Update() 
{
            //within radius
    if((target.position - AI.position).magnitude < radiusA)
    {
    LookAtTarget = true;
    }

}

There are no brackets at all on your LateUPdate function

The statements is if( yourcondition )
