Air Attack during falling animation problems

When I set a blend tree from the any state state (I’m not sure how to explain it) the character does the jumping/falling animation from any state. So when I try to do anything else in the air the character either does one frame of the animation i’m trying to do or doesn’t do it at all. I’ll upload an image of the animator state map.

Will I have to start over with the animator map?

I’m having the same problem.
