hello, I have a question, why is this not compatible with mobile devices?

We thought the game wouldn’t be fun to play on mobile. It is difficult to control the aiplane on mobile device.
So during the asset development mobile inputs have not been implemented.

If we convert controls to mobile touch controls by ourselves, will it be suitable to make a game for mobile device, with the same environments and models used in your kit. Mean will it have a smooth play on mobile devices…

First, thank you for your interest about the asset.
The asset is designed only for PC / Desktop.
The asset is not optimized for mobile (The demo scene uses realtime lights, post effect).

Hi there.
Great job.

Menus scroll “automatically”. For example, in the controls setup, hovering the mouse pointer over a button takes place through the entire scroll, staying on the last button. It is impossible to see the first ones and, of course, not to choose options either.

I have tried to test the “demo” scene with keyboard … and it was impossible. The plane rises, until it explodes. There is no way to master it. It may be due to the same problem as in the “menus”.

Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately I can’t reproduce the issue. I’ve tested on 2 PCs and I can’t reproduce the issue.

If you have a gamepad connected to the PC: Try to deconnect the gamepad. Check if you still have the problem.

Do you have the issue in the build or in the Editor too?

If you want send me an email with the process to reproduce the issue.
You’ll find my email here: https://assetstore.unity.com/publishers/24032

Ok, thanks

I also had the same problem that I could not master the plane. I think the problem is with the high resolution that slows down everything both menus and the game. When you build the game and you lower the resolution it works well. In the editor, even if I lower the resolution and apply, the changes are not saved (I tried to wait and to see in the console but nothing happens…) and the resolution is always 2880x1800 (I use Mac M1)…and you cannot test the game in the editor because you cannot fly the plane.

Is it possible (or would it be possible) to use the mouse to fly the plane?

I can’t test with your setup because I have no Mac (M1).
As I said in the asset store page the game is designed for PC and URP. I have choose this because I have a PC to test.

In the editor you can choose the game view resolution.
In the game view select or Create a resolution using the dropdown menu (spot 1).

If it doesn’t solve the problem you can send me an email.

Note: It is not possible to use the mouse to control the airplane.

Thanks!

Hi.

Is it on the roadmap to incorporate any demo or multiplayer functionality?

Hi,
Sorry but there is no plan for online multiplayer.

Last week I worked on a new camera in the Airplane Race Creator garage. It’s much more dynamic :).
This new camera is available in the lastest asset update.

Hi, there is a note in the store about this asset not being compatible with VR , any specific reason why ?

The first reason is: I have no VR headset to test VR.
Then the asset doesn’t take care about VR specifications (camera, UI, post process,…)

O cool so no real restriction, It is just a Mather of setting up my own camera on top of your rig or just using parts of it .

Hello, I bought and played with your asset some weeks ago and I find it great. You will find my full review on its store page.
As I said in the review I also miss the multiplayer feature (which I 've read here it is not planned unfortunately). However, I will play a bit more with the asset to see what can be done from this starting point

I bought your asset few months ago and I liked it a lot. But I’m very much interested to launch a lite version for mobile as well (I’m willing to downgrade some of the features not available for mobile). Can you please provide us a guide that if we want to use it on mobile (with our own effort) what features won’t be available?

I am willing to buy this asset for a webgl project. I have no intention of using the demo scene rather I will use my own models and create my own levels, planes…etc. Will you recommend it for WebGL builds? I will not be using any post processing and realtime lights or anything that could be expensive to use on WebGL. Let me know!
Also, The asset looks fantastic! Great work!
