akeytsu, brand new 3D software dedicated to character animation and rigging

Hi guys,

Thanks to Helmers who made a thread about us in the beginning of July. However post title did not mention akeytsu, so, not easy to find. That is why i make a new one :wink:

Maybe you already heard about us on CGTalk, CGChannel, etc.

My name is Aurélien Charrier, i am CEO at nukeygara, a french company developing akeytsu, this brand new 3D software dedicated solely to character animation and rigging.

Though intrinsically an artistic endeavour, 3D animation has been transformed in a high-level technical activity by the use of current software. These programs are broad-based and powerful, but overly complicated, with a very long learning curve.

In fact, 3D animation software did not evolve during the last 25 years
until akeytsu.
akeytsu’s motto is “designed by & for animators”, and therefore it bares an artistic-oriented approach, breaking up classic standards of current broad-based 3D solutions. It provides a new work-flow built on simplicity, velocity and ergonomics.

The first version of akeytsu targets games/indie games community. It is the perfect anim/rig tool for Unity :wink:

akeytsu beta is available on our website. It is free ! You really should take a look at it ;-).

For guys coming at SIGGRAPH, we will be exhibitor there in L.A next month.

Sorry for late answer. We had a very busy August with SIGGRAPH.
No relationship with MECANIM. akeytsu is total third party 3D anim and rig software.
The perfect match for Unity. Definitely :wink:

Will this software give you option to extract animation also ? Like animation baker ? Random question

Sure. You import/export in FBX. It already works in Unity!
