A rogue file recovery program swept my computer, but I managed to get it out, and all my files are fine. But, when I start Unity and my scene loads, all my models and characters are gone. There are empty game objects in their places, though. All my files are still in the exact same place on my hard drive and nothing has changed with them, but unity doesn’t seem to load them in at all. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling but that doesn’t seem to help. What should I do next? Thanks for taking the time to read!

You’re probably just going to have to go into the project and add them back in, by script or by hand. It sounds like the links were broken. Sorry, bud.
