All my text's characters are rectangles - TMPro & Polyspatial

In all my TMPro texts, the characters are rectangles. The result is the same in the build and on Play To Device.
I tried changing the font, importing other ones, but nothing changes… I tried tweaking almost every shader and text setting, but nothing changes. I also tried using a very large or very small font size, placing it very close or very far. I get the impression that when the text takes up little space on the screen (either far or small), the characters start to appear.

I created a new empty project, imported the Polyspatial 2.0 packages, and everything works fine.

I want to clarify that my texts were working fine initially, but after updating Polyspatial to version 2.0.0-pre11 and Unity to version 6000.0.17f1, they turned into “rectangles.”

I’m pretty sure it’s not a big issue, probably a compatibility error somewhere, but I’m out of ideas.

Hey there, sorry to hear you’re having issues. Can you please try reimporting the Unity UI assets? You can do this by navigating to the project folder hierarchy in the editor, right click on Packages/Unity UI → Reimport.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve just tested it, it’s not working, same issue …

But i did “Assets/Reimport All” and it works, it was a nice idea, thanks mate
