All of my projects and install versions are completely gone.

Launch hub. I can access only one project, which can’t be launched. Apparently all my projects are just gone. That one project? Still has its folder for some reason, but is completely empty. Unity version installs, also all gone. It’s not like every aspect of unity has been completely wiped clean; settings remain, and the Hub is still there, of course.

Researched this a lot, and it seems this often stems from people putting projects in their Hub folder. Which I was not. Projects, backup projects, and Hub are all seperate folders, and all children of one Unity folder.
Didn’t delete anything of course. Nothing in recycle bin. Nothing in hidden folders, documents, etc. No antiviruses tripped it. It’s like projects/versions were wiped from all existence.

I’m suspecting the Hub is the culprit, because that’d be the most inconvenient and infuriating reason.
Beyond the parroted and obvious, ‘why aren’t you using 5 version controls and 19 backups,’ any thoughts/advice on recovery and/or future prevention would be appreciated. Thank you.

so you had the project in Program Files/Unity? or something like this?

the one project that you still have, what is his full path?

I always keep projects separated from unity installation on a second drive. I know it doesn’t help you but I don’t understand why you keep them there.
