Alpha left a doo doo on my computer

In order to fix an error I deleted a folder within library folder. Now this pops up. I reinstalled THE ENTIRETY of Unity Hub, Visual Studio and Unity 2019.3.0a8 and I’m already done.

If anybody knows how to get it away, I’ll be thankful. Nothing autocompletes in Visual Studio, double-click doesn’t invoke editor. I do not care what it is, I don’t want to repair it, or reinstall it, I want it purged from my harddrive, I’m done. I want this error and whatever wonderful packages are causing it to be evaporated by photonic laser.

No changes in hardware, I run it as administrator, no changes in antivirus. Nothing new. I literally opened it up. The version did go from 2.0a7 to 2.0a8, maybe that’s it. I don’t know.

Hi @baxcet20 ,

Can you try this:

  1. Close Unity
  2. Erase the folder C:\Users\xxxx\appData\Local\cache
  3. Open Unity

Do you have administrator rights on the machine?
