Alpha Wheels Racing - free 3D racing game for Android.

Hello,

We are small team that just published our second game at Google Store - a 3D racing game that features 10 fully customizable cars (you can customize almost everything), 17 unique tracks with 3 different racing surfaces. You can upgrade your car parts, paint your car, put stickers/decals and other accessories - there are literally unlimited customization variations. We tried to make physics as realistic as possible while trying to keep the game fun and easy to play.

We would love to get some feedback on the game and see what you guys think.

Hi Marko,

I’ve downloaded your game… I like the menu, this is good if you want to sell it, I can buy for sure!

About the game, it’s cool game, but, I believe that you can add some things like:
1- Steering wheel control option;
2- Vehicles shadows (you can use simple shadows effects with a projector or a simple plane);
3- Increase the vehicle speeds (I believe that the vehicles appears to be moving too slow, I mean that the game needs to have a little more sense of speed);

But is a nice game with a lot of options to work on the car, this is very good. Let me know if you’ll put the menu/GUI system to sell (PM me).

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

We will add car shadows for sure in the upcoming updates as that is the most common suggestion. We planned on adding them later but looks like we should have added them from the start :slight_smile:
Steering wheel was also something we considered and we may add this. As for vehicle speed we tried to make distinction between slow and fast cars so player can feel the progress he is making so at the begining the cars are somewhat slower.

I will PM you about the menu system.

Thanks!

Hi,

I also felt a racing game should have a bit more sense of speed (though I understand your point about wanting the user to experience of speeding up as it progresses).

The steering is a little awkward with the two buttons, not sure what the issue is (perhaps it steers too little on press, or there is a small lag in the steering).

Keep up with the good work and good luck!

Thank you for your suggestions. Several people did have similar remark regarding steering. I think we will add sensitivity adjustment in the menu. The steering angle increases with time in logarithmic fashion.
