Alter Particle System From Script

Is there any way to control all the attributes of a Shuriken particle system from a script? I see that some of them can be modified, but it looks like basically everything that’s in a toggleable sub-module of the particle system can’t be accessed by a script.

Am I correct in that, or are their properties I’m not seeing?

Guessing this just isn’t possible. Can’t find anything via google or in docs. Oh well.
