Am I doing it right__?

I’ve been learning Unity for the past 20-30 days, and so far, I’ve been following Unity Learn Pathways. I’m really eager to get better at it and want to make sure I’m learning from the best resources. Do you think Unity Learn is the right place to continue, or are there better courses or playlists that would help me learn more effectively?

From when I did it, the Junior Programming pathway was pretty good. Though I never finished it as I ended up being comfortable enough to continue on my own. Its still being updated so I can only assume it’s as good if not better than when I did it.

Though full disclosure, a lot of game dev is teaching yourself. Particularly: teaching yourself what you need, as you need it. Or figuring things out as you go. Game dev is infinitely wide like that.

Tackling actual projects of your own once you feel like you’ve covered the basics will be the best teacher, IMO.

I could not agree more with the point that you truly learn by working on your own projects, but to continue on my own i currently don’t have any project ideas in mind. So I am thinking of learning as much as I can about C# programming and the unity platform.
Also whenever I create a game(from patway) i try to add extra features commonly found in similar popular games. btw I have completed 80% of the Junior Programmer pathway.
