been trying all day long. driven by tuts and unity lessons…
It just don’t work at all !
mixamo to blender is heaven ! unity to and from blender is hell !
well. frankly mecanim avatar is just not working ! ( or enough obfuscated that it’s just useless/unusable ).
bones ( the thing we all know in our mesh tools )… refused…
rig ( the thing we all know in our mesh tools )… refused…
mecanim is only able to say:
your invalid shit is not compatible with U3D god goodies !!! you dumb ass should throw away blender and use good things !
allright apart my ( friendly ) sarcasms…
am really struggling ! nothing, nowhere helps !!!
I find no help, from anywhere on creating an avatar ( i’m not even sure of what an avatar is ) from a blend file ! and then use it for animations ( from blender action ED )…
Sincerely… i’m lost and i wish… i hope… i know U3D team make great things !

as a final word. I know Udev team make great things.
The failure is the doc and lack of examples.

I… U3D user, have to choose between using the best/most_recent not_working thingie or the old shitty
thing that i can make work…
as my purpose is not to show U3D team make advanced things… i use the old shit and am
sad of this.
