An animal as the star

Hello! I’m working on Project Gallop, a simulation of life as a horse, and so here I am hoping to pick the brains of experienced developers.

First of all, does letting the player control a four-footed animal present any special challenges? I’m sure it does- the animations will be different, for one thing. The camera will have to be adjusted to a horse’s eye height, and so on.

Basically what I’m asking is: has this been done before? Has anyone completed or attempted a 3D, animal-centric game in Unity before; and if so, would they please advise me? Thank you for your responses.

Unless your making a super in depth simulation, there shouldnt be that many special challenges

I’ll be honest. I honestly, have never attempted to make, a horse game before.
But one game that is kinda close, but yet different in a way, to what your want to achieve, is Barbie Horse Adventures.:slight_smile:
