heyyyy!!! recently I came across an idea… would like to share with you people! hope you like it.
We have games like Zoo tycoon or wild life safari games wherein we get to shoot frightened and running or ferocious animals!
What if we have landed on “the Planet of Elephants” (or some other ) wherein man is on the brink of extension and elephants are the species who are ruling the planet.
Now elephants decide to go on a safari and kill man!!
Isn’t it exciting???

I noticed you’re from India. The little bit of Indian history and culture I know is that elephants form sometimes quite a large and prominent part of it. Being from a multi-cultural country myself that is often far different from the West I know it’s difficult for game developers in say the western world to understand and make games or other forms of entertainment that reflects those in say India, Africa or China etc.
So yeah the idea revolving around elephants may actually work out quite well in India. You should speak to your friends about it and maybe post on Indian-based gaming forums - I know there’s a lot of them out there. But yeah your idea could definitely work outside of India of course as well - especially if you make it comical.
Have you ever played Destroyed All Humans? It’s a game where instead of playing the human hero that fights off aliens - you play an alien that comes to Earth as part of an invasion! Was pretty well designed and humorous and I remember did very well at least on the PS2 with the first iteration in the series.

What’s more important is that game should be able to send across a message that how helpless those animals are in the cage while we throw stones at them. It can be fun filled serious game (toon shading seems a good idea :)) with organizations like OIE.

that being said, go nuts! Sounds good and make sure you have a great time doing it and it will translate into the game.
The elephants would require opposing thumbs in order to operate delicate machinery, wonder what that would look like. Maybe they’d have one on the end of their trunks? That would be cool.
I think this can turn out into a good game…!!! I would appreciate if someone would come forward and make a design document and feasibility analysis for this game!! If the game design document turns out good I along with other willing to contribute can put into efforts to turn this idea into a game.
